EPIC Psychology and Wellbeing Services was formed in 2015 as a response to psychological and wellbeing needs and sits within the wider world of Discovery Trust. Discovery was formed in 2012 and is a well-established and respected partnership of 13 primary schools and 2 specialist SEMH schools in Leicestershire, Leicester City and Rutland. Discovery aspires to achieve excellence in all areas of work. The children and families we work with have confidence in the teachers and leaders of the Trust who act with integrity and demonstrate respect for individual needs. Discovery aspires for all our schools to become sustainable and altruistic, driven by a passion for working in partnership with all stakeholders. EPIC comprises of 4 EPs, 2 Assistant Psychologists and 3 undergraduate psychology students on placement from Loughborough University. The Service is also commissioned by other schools and agencies and we have a keen focus on training and research.
