Course preparation
All course materials are delivered digitally. This means you will need to bring a device or download the materials before coming on the course.
Before the course you are required to complete a personal skills audit and also a setting audit. These are both available online through mentalhealthlead.com. If a colleague is also completing a course with us, then complete the setting audit in tandem.

Anna Sims Anna Sims Trainer

I am an Inclusion Adviser focusing on Mental Health and Wellbeing for Norfolk County Council. My current role includes training, supporting schools to audit their current whole school approach, action planning and evaluating impact as well sharing good practice through MHWB network meetings and wellbeing newsletters. I am the Norfolk lead for the Anna Freud Mental Health Services and Schools Link Programme and facilitate regular meetings for MH services across Norfolk. I led on the bid and introduction of Mental Health Support Teams in Norfolk and Waveney and worked in collaboration with Ormiston Families to set up and recruit schools to the teams. I deliver both (PATHS) Promoting Alternative Thinking Strategies training and Steps, a whole school approach to positive behaviour planning in Norfolk Schools. My background is in teaching and previously I was a trainer promoting a whole school approach to physical and mental health as part of Norfolk Healthy Schools Team. I led and developed training and resources for PSHE, drug education, positive playtimes

Dr Bianca Finger-Berry Dr Bianca Finger-Berry Trainer

Dr Bianca Finger-Berry works as Critical Incident Lead for the Educational Psychology Service in Norfolk. Her main role is to support schools and early years settings with critical incidents, bereavement and trauma. She is an EMDR practitioner offering EMDR therapy to children and adults who have experienced trauma or are suffering from anxiety, phobias and other related issues. Her educational background includes a degree in Social Pedagogy (Germany, 1996), a Certificate in Counselling Skills (2003), Doctorate in Education (UEA, 2015) MA in Advanced Social Work (UEA, 2018) and a Diploma in Mental Health Informed Schools and Communities (2019).
