Leading to a Level 4 Certificate in Mental Health Aware Leadership (Educational Leader) in addition to accreditation as a National Educational Leader in Mental Health.

Day 1: 9.30 to 16.00. Delegates to please ensure they bring either paper copies of learner downloads or a device to access them on.

Course preparation
All course materials are delivered digitally. This means you will need to bring a device or download the materials before coming on the course.
Before the course you are required to complete a personal skills audit and also a setting audit. These are both available online through mentalhealthlead.com. If a colleague is also completing a course with us, then complete the setting audit in tandem.

I have worked in mainstream and special education for over 20 years, from Early Years through to Post-16. I am currently the Deputy Director of Education for SEND with a multi-academy trust. Prior to my current role I spent 14 years working at a Hospital School for young people with complex mental ill health that required inpatient admission. I was Headteacher of the school for 7 years. I am passionate about enabling colleagues to support the mental health of everyone in their settings.
